Travis is a very talented actor to whom I don't think gets enough credit for what he does. He hasn't done many roles compared to other, more seasoned voice actors but of the ones he has done, he is remembered well. Perhaps you would recognize him best for his role as everyone's favorite hot headed alchemist Roy Mustang from Fullmetal Alchemist? It's most likely his biggest role and as he goes on with his career, I have no doubts that it will be the role he will always be compared to. Other roles you may be able to pin him as is Iggy from Ergo Proxy and in the FUNimation version of One Piece, he plays Portgas D. Ace. If you're a fan of Mushishi, you can hear his voice playing Ginko and if you swing more toward shows like Shuffle! then you can hear him playing the King of Gods.
Now Mr. Willingham doesn't do just anime alone. If you've ever played Dawn of Mana as I have, you'll hear him playing Stroud and of course he plays all Roy Mustang versions in all the Fullmetal Alchemist video games. He does live action acting as well. For example, if you've ever seen Secondhand Lions then you'll definitely see him there as well as in The Guardian.
In my opinion, Travis is one of the most comical voice actors I have ever seen (and heard) and he my number one favorite. He always seems to have such enthusiasm in whatever he does whether that be anime conventions or actually doing his work. I really admire that and actually am a bit envious. I hope he continues to pop up in a bunch more of my favorite animes (and even ones I don't watch) so that the fans out there can get to hear him a bit more.
As he goes on with his career, we fans will be behind him and we wish him the best.
